Doylestown Health reported that they have signed an agreement indicating their intention to pursue a merger. Now with the final approval obtained, Penn Medicine will incorporate the 247-bed facility.

“This marks a crucial phase in the development and reshaping of our healthcare system, particularly as we keep reinventing the methods and locations where we provide outstanding care to additional patients across the Philadelphia suburbs,” they stated.

During the initial six months of its 2025 fiscal year, Doylestown Health recorded an operational deficit of $13.7 million, marking an uptick from the $8.1 million loss seen during the corresponding timeframe in the previous year. For fiscal year 2024, the facility showed revenues totaling $466.8 million—a 12% rise compared to the $417.9 million documented in fiscal year 2023.
