		<description>Printing on both sides would be good, but it&#039;s such a hassle with most printers, making it a bit unlikely. 

And I&#039;m kind of with you on the fountain pen thing, exvept that I worry about how much mess I would make! I really am a terrible mess... It is terribly wasteful though. And they breed - I don&#039;t know where all the pens on my desk could possible have come from!</description>

		<description>Great post and very topical since I&#039;ve been talking about it all week with a friend of mine!

I&#039;m not sure how we can make people print less but I agree that something needs to be done. One thing would be to encourage printing on both sides...

Oh, and why does everyone have biros which you throw away when it&#039;s empty? what happened to having one pen and using an ink pot to fill it up again? We can figure out how to stick down the posters differently on the underground (instead of paper mache the posters are now one big post-it note) so we should be able to invent a pen that does not leak and is refillable. Maybe we should all go back to using fountain pens in school, and hope that children continue to use them as they grow up.</description>
