But I agree, now that I have it, I couldn't give it up! There's just so much I'd miss! And I thought 270-ish feeds was bad! I can never bring myself to mark a folder as read, though I've pondered switching from Bloglines to Google reader for the ability to tag feeds and mark some as expendable when push comes to shove with catching up. An interim folder is a fantastic idea. I also use Neal's technique of binning feeds when I realize I'm finding them a chore to look through. I figure if they get interesting again, I'll find out about it at some point. Overload and all, I couldn't live without my reader and the ability to scan the headlines of the biblioblogosphere--and world. I don't miss them, of course - I barely ever delve into that folder except to clear them out wholesale - but I still find the prospect of deleting them and never being able to find them again too scary.
