Podcasts from Sweet & Maxwell

Published by Davina | Filed under Uncategorized

I was on the Sweet & Maxwell website today and noticed that they now have a podcast section. They have a number available on topics such as Employment Law, IP Law and Family Law.

I’m not a podcast person, and I don’t know if any of my lawyers are, but they look like useful things to link to on the intranet in case there is anyone interested.

What I’d really like to know is how many hits they’re getting on them? Are there actually lawyers using them?

Seshat, I like what Sweet & Maxwell are doing here but it’s a bit of a mish mash. Some of the podcasts are about legal subjects whilst some are about how the authors wrote the books they are working on. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency in what S&M are providing!

Yes, there does seem to be a distint lack of consistency there. I wonder if they’ve done any user testing or gotten much feedback?

I think that if they’re going to have podcasts on writing books etc rather than simply legal topics, they should be kept in separate sections.
